iProto - a mobile bioinformatics tool Bookmark and Share

iProto Human

With this application you have the whole human proteome in your pocket for quick, easy and offline accessibility. Search or browse the proteome, visualize the secondary structure (2D) or domains, perform blast search (online) or multiple sequence alignments (online). Mail the sequence to your colleagues, look up database references or use it to learn more about a protein. Use it to find and launch Molecules.app with the desired PDB. Perfect for the conference or lecture.

iProto Yeast

Has the same functionality as iProto Human ( above ) but with the proteomes of several diffrent yeast and yeast strains.
Click for list of yeast and yeast strains included in this application

Written about iProto yeast:
"But what about if you need the proteomes for several yeast and yeast strains right now. Oh, actually, there is an app for that. It’s called iProto Yeast"
